Deb: Welcome and I hope you enjoy our sheep. Our farm is located in South Central Pennsylvania - York, PA. At the present time our flock consists of seven ewes, two rams and one wether. Finnish Landrace "Finnsheep" are a multi-purpose breed. They were imported to the United States from Canada in the 1960's. Their medium-fine fleece is low in lanoline, soft to the touch, lustrous and sought after by hand-spinners. Finnsheep are also known for exhibiting outstanding maternal traits, and having litters (up to seven lambs at a time). Their meat is naturally lean & tender and they possess a docile and friendly temperment.
